Dear Eco Students:

Here is a timetable to help you complete your economics course successfully and earn the half credit you need to graduate.  Read PAK 1, “What is Economics?” very carefully because you will learn how to begin the performance tasks – the journal, Budget Blues and the Stock Market Project - that are required for this course. There will be a seminar on these projects the first week.  Each PAK contains section assessments, journal entries, case studies and guided reading activities.  In addition, you will be given a computer project and/or a video project for some PAKs.  Check with the teacher each time you receive a new PAK for required computer work.  You must also write out answers to the Section Assessments at the end of each section of your textbook when indicated and submit them with your PAK activities. You will be working through two PAKs per week on this accelerated block schedule.
