WORLD HISTORY SEMINARS CALENDAR REFERENCES

In addition to completing the PAKs listed below, make sure you attend the scheduled seminars and take the tests listed in each Learning Activities section.  The textbook used is World History: Connections to Today, Prentice Hall, publishers.  Check the monthly Calendar for deadlines and Seminars.  Use the Reference page for your research.

PAK 1:  In The Beginning . . . In this PAK, you will explore how physical - or geographic - isolation helped three of the four first river valley cultures build a strong civilization. Chapters 1 - 4 in the textbook are studied in this PAK, which takes approximately 8 days to complete.  Individual daily deadlines will be assigned. Required activities:
