Honors Anatomy and Physiology is an 18 week course in which
we cover all human systems and their functions in the body. This
elective course is structured for those interested in going into the medical
field.
Supplies-
A spiral notebook is required to take notes and record
vocabulary as needed. Colored pencils and highlighters are highly
recommended.
Seminars-
Seminars will occur when needed. They are not mandatory but are
highly recommended as we will usually be covering not only chapter material, lab
information as well as periodic graded seminar quizzes.
Grading Policy-
Students will follow the grading policies as laid out for the science
department:
PAK Grades:
Assignments/Notebook:
15% of PAK Grade
Labs/Seminar Quizzes:
35%
of PAK Grade
Tests:
50%
of PAK Grade
Late Grades:
One day late: Maximum grade of 75 can be received
PAK and test is due in the period that the student is assigned,
after
that period the assignment is considered to be late and the one day
late policy will be followed.
On the day after the PAK is due, all work will be picked up and
graded.
If/when student is caught up, any unfinished work can be redone with
the 75% cap
