Aquatic Science (AquaSci)

Course Description Aquatic science is the study of fresh water and ocean environments.
Supplies You'll need a spiral notebook for vocabulary, notes and other tasks.
Seminars Rare--but may be given when needed.
Grading Policy
Students will follow the grading policies as laid out for the science department:
  1. PAK Grades:
    bulletAssignments :                     15% of PAK Grade
    bulletLabs:                                 35% of PAK Grade
    bulletTests:                                50% of PAK Grade
  2. Late Grades:
    bulletOne day late:  Maximum grade of 80 can be received.
    bulletOn the day after the PAK is due, all work will be picked up and graded. (for a 75)
    bulletIf/when student is caught up, any unfinished work can be redone with the 75% cap
  3. Final Term Grade:
    bullet80% of Grade is taken from 9 Week Average
    bullet20% of Grade is taken from  Final Exam

 

AquaSci Notebook Counts as 50% of your PAK grade.  Keep this in chronological order, and make it as organized and easy to review as possible.  Use a highlighter for headings. Use it to study for each PAK exam and the final.
