GMO

 

Course Description GMO stands for Geology, Meteorology, Oceanography.  It is an 18 week course in which we study earth science, the physical environment of the planet Earth.
Supplies You will need a 70 page spiral notebook for each term. It's also good to have colored pencils, a metric ruler, and a calculator.
Seminars There will be one seminar a week, for announcements & a FUN activity.  Content information will be available on line, not presented in seminar.
Grading Policy

Students will follow the grading policies as laid out for the science department:

  1. PAK Grades:

Assignments :                     15% of PAK Grade

Labs:                                 35% of PAK Grade

bullet

Tests:                                50% of PAK Grade
  1. Late Grades:

bullet

If you turn in work even 1 day late, the highest possible grade will be 75.

 
  1. Final Term Grade:

bullet

80% of Grade is taken from 9 Week Average

bullet

20% of Grade is taken from  Final Exam
